SHOTGUN SLADE

An Exciting Game For 2, 3, or 4 Players

Shotgun Slade has captured 4 outlaws in different locations around this frontier town. The players, his deputies, must bring them in and lock them up.

The Object of the Game

Is to be the first player to get all four of his outlaws into jail.

To Begin The Game:

1. Unfold the game board and slide the edges (as marked), into the grooves in theu 4 wooden holders. This will hold the board flat and off the table so that the marbles will stay in place.

2. Each player selecfs a "Start" area and uses 4 marbles (the outlaws) of the same matching color. Place these in the 4 holes directly below your "Start" sign.

3. High spin on either dial plays first. (Use spinner, handiest to you.)

Playing The Game:

1. Each player in turn, must spin a 6 or a 1 in order to place one of his outlaws (marbles) in his "Start" hole. From here he moves the marble around the playing board in the direction marked by arrows until it reaches its matching colored entrance to the Jail.

2. When a 6 is spun at any time, that player gets an extra spin, but if 6 is spun more than twice in a turn, spin does not count and player loses his next turn.

3. Each player should try to start as soon possible all four of his outlaws (marbles), one at a time on a 6 or 1, but he can't start another one if his start hole is already occupied by one of his marbles.

4. If possible, a player should try not to have one of his marbles stop in another player's "Start" hole because if he does and the other player spins a 6 or 1 and has a marble to start with, he will "shoot" him causing that outlaw to escape. When this happens, the first player must start his outlaw (marble) over again.

5. If one player lands on another player's outlaw (marble) by exact count, he yells "Tough Luck" and sends that persons marble back to start all over again.

6. A player can jump over another player's marble counting the hole it occupies as one space, but a player cannot jump his own even when they are in jail.

7. When a player gets an outlaw around the board to his entrance to the jail, he must get an exaci spin to get into the (Unless he spins a 6 and gets a number he can use on his extra spin.)

To Win:

The first player to get four of his outlaws (marbles) around the board and into his four jail holes by exact count, wins the game.

Partners:

If the players want to play partners, play the some as above except when one of the partners gets all of his outlaws in jail, he then keeps on playinq in turn and helps move his partner's outlaws (marbles).

Using Moneys

Divide the fifty $100 bills among the players putting any odd amount aside. Then at the start of the game, each player puts $200 in the pot. As the qame progresses, any player who has an outlaw (marble) sent back to start over again must put in another $100. The player winning the game gets all of the money in the pot.
